I will tell you one of the unique features of Xperia Smartphone Models.
The requirement of Android OS should be 4.2 or above.
The Feature is media throw.
here is the image on how the throw feature works.
Start walkman app in xperia phone.
then go to options in the track. as shown in the above image.
Then tap on throw option.
you will see something like this.
Once you see something like this.
it will show you a list of devices connected to your wifi.
one you select the device that specific device will start playing the track (Song)
Those devices will be displayed which has the supported feature of playing media via wifi.
example your Xperia Tablet.
Windows laptop which is connected to your phone in media share.
Smart TV which is connected to wifi.
make sure that your phone and the device you want to play the media is also connected to wifi.
You will love this feature as it does not require any cables example usb cable or hdmi cable
you can play movies too the same way open your movies application in xperia smartphone
the movie application will be inbuit with xperia
so if you download any other app from playstore it wont work.
turn on the video and go to option select throw > then select the device and within one second the video will be played on that specific device you have selected.

i was actually shocked when i accidentially used the throw feature .... :)
and saw a My smart tv name on my phone as i selected the smart-tv (device) the song was played.
